I have been carrying out marine surveys in the Eastern Mediterranean since 2001, working with clients across Turkey, Greece, Cyprus and the wider Mediterranean, Europe and Asia.

I came to surveying from a practical background. Starting out as a helicopter technician in the early 1990s, I moved into the marine industry in 1993, working as a marine mechanic on refit and repair projects before transitioning into full-time surveying. I hold a Diploma in Yacht and Small Craft Surveying, with specialist knowledge in rigs, engines, machinery and systems.

I survey both sailing yachts and motor vessels of all construction types, GRP, aluminium, steel and timber. I carry up-to-date equipment including moisture meters for GRP yachts and an ultrasonic thickness gauge for aluminium and steel vessels.

I work independently with no affiliations to brokers, dealers or boatyards. Every survey is carried out for the person who commissions it, and for no one else.

Away from surveying, I am a keen sailor and have sailed throughout the Mediterranean, across the Atlantic and in the Baltic and North Sea.
